John Tan has worked with many property management companies in the Greater Toronto Area and has performed annual audits for hundreds of condominium corporations (residential, commercial, industrial and mixed used buildings) and attended their Annual General Meetings in his career. He is also part of the Canadian Condominium Institute – Toronto Area Chapter Volunteer Resource Committee.
John has provided audit, tax and advisory services to clients in the United States and Canada in various industries such as nonprofit organizations, electoral campaign finance, real estate, private equity, start ups, digital assets, and distributions with local and national firms. While actively managing his practice, he embraces AI, leveraging technology to scale and streamline processes.
John holds a BBA degree in accounting and an MBA degree in real estate and strategic management from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a licensed CPA in New York and Maryland and a Licensed Public Accountant (LPA) in Ontario.
During his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano and the saxophones. He has familiarity with Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone saxophones.
